Description

This Lobster Ravioli in Garlic Butter Sauce is an indulgent yet surprisingly easy dish that’s perfect for a special dinner. The delicate, seafood-filled ravioli is coated in a silky, garlicky butter sauce with hints of lemon and herbs.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Lobster Ravioli:

  • 1 pound lobster ravioli (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tablespoon salt (for boiling water)

For the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • ½ cup white wine (or seafood broth)
  • ½ cup heavy cream (optional, for a creamier sauce)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Optional Garnishes:

  • Extra Parmesan cheese
  • Lemon zest
  • Fresh basil

Instructions

1. Cook the Lobster Ravioli:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook lobster ravioli according to package instructions (usually 3-4 minutes for fresh, 4-6 minutes for frozen). Drain and set aside.

2. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in red pepper flakes (if using).

Pour in white wine (or seafood broth) and let it simmer for 2 minutes to reduce slightly. For a richer sauce, add heavy cream and stir until smooth.

3. Finish the Sauce:

Stir in grated Parmesan, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

4. Toss the Ravioli in the Sauce:

Add the cooked lobster ravioli to the skillet, gently tossing to coat in the sauce. Let it simmer for 1-2 minutes so the flavors meld.

5. Serve and Enjoy:

Plate the ravioli and sprinkle with fresh parsley, extra Parmesan, and lemon zest. Serve immediately with garlic bread or a crisp white wine.

Notes

  • Pair with a side of roasted asparagus or a fresh salad.
  • Use brown butter instead of regular butter for a nuttier flavor.
