Ingredients
- 2 (16 oz) packages frozen pierogies (cheddar or potato & cheese)
- 1 lb kielbasa, sliced into ¼-inch rounds
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup chicken broth
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon paprika (optional, for extra flavor)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Spray the inside of your crockpot with nonstick cooking spray. Slice the kielbasa into thin rounds and set aside.
Step 2: Make the Creamy Sauce
In a medium bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, softened cream cheese, chicken broth, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and paprika until smooth.
Step 3: Layer the Ingredients
In the crockpot, layer half of the frozen pierogies, followed by half of the sliced kielbasa. Pour half of the creamy sauce over the top. Repeat with the remaining pierogies, kielbasa, and sauce.
Step 4: Cook the Casserole
